I really do think this map is simply an homage to the original game (which I’ve never played). I figured SOMETHING would have happened by now with my tinkering, even just one thing turning on to let me know I’m getting to something, but so far nothing. I even considered the possibility that since there are two times you can set the clock to, that maybe there are different things to do in each version of the map: easy mode being day time and hard mode being during the night. The picture is different between the two versions. Lush: Negilahn (Myst Online) K'veer (TPotS) Myst Online: On the right platform in the upper section of the pod. On top of that button, there are two key-hole sorta things in the basement by the elevator, the power lines running to the spaceship, insinuating the power can be turned on, and two random artifacts that I found that can’t be interacted with: A knife stuck into a rock on the side of the mountain over near the large gear (which also seems like something that could/should move) and an orb the size of a soccer ball with a symbol of an eye on it over behind the furthest pillar on the left side of the library. Firemarbles: Er'cana: At the end of one of the drainage pipes (second from the left). Which sucks cuz I dumped a few hours into it the other night. Now, there are gas fireplaces which can be inserted into the mouth of a conventional fireplace. In addition, it serves as a room divider. From everything I’ve looked at, this map is Myst Themed and not an active solvable puzzle. The fireplace is a focus of the area and when you select the stone and design style you will need to think about the main use of the room. It would be a shitty thing to do to put in a button that doesn’t do anything.
